Today's learning goals:
1. You will become familiar with the journal prompts that we use to begin each class.
2. You will learn how to set up a gmail account for this class.
3. You will begin the process of learning who you are.

Our first DO NOW: 
1. Put your "syllabus signatures" homework on your desk.
2. Open to the JOURNAL SECTION of your binder.
3. Consider the following quotation:
"Be Yourself. Everyone else is taken."
Write  a minimum of 5 lines in your journal: What do you think the statement means? Do you agree or disagree? WHY?  Just write your thoughts. (5 minutes) 

Gmail accounts revisited: Demonstration of the steps to open your account.

The "I AM Poem" (Complete the sentences to create a free verse poem. Submit it at the end of class. ( 50 points.)
