Today's task:
Open Google docs with your gmail account. If you don't have one, you'll have to work on Word and email it to me as an attachment.
Create your pictorial essay or poem based on the following prompt:
You are a member of Jonathon Edward's congregation during Puritan times. Write a vivid description of what you imagine will happen to you based on your worries about whether you might be a sinner. Use three vocabulary words. This may be in poetic or prose form.
Be sure to include:
1. who you are - the more details the better.
2. a picture of "you" that is from the Puritan era
3. how you may/ or may not have sinned according to the Puritan ethic, or what you are worried about
4. a description of what you imagine awaits you using plenty of imagery and 3 vocabulary words
5. pictures from the web that illustrate what awaits you.
Directions for downloading an image:
Open a new tab and go to Google Images.
Enter Puritan man, woman, etc. in the search bar.
Click on the image you want and drag it to your desk top.
Return to Google Docs tab and select the picture box. Select "an image from my computer" and browse the desktop for your image. Click open, and there it is!
Directions for sharing your document on Google Docs.
1. At the top right of your screen, click Share.
2. A "Share Settings" dialogue box will appear.
3. Scroll to the bottom, and where it says "add users" type in Mrs.Willis' and Mr. Nedeau's email address.
4. Click Share.

with the puritan's homework i pretended as if i was back then im=n the 1700's and my name was rebeca i am saved my god and cherished my things to much but now im all about god.

ReplyDeleteThis blog can help me in many different ways this year. One way it will help me is by letting me know my grade when ever im curious. This lets me know if I'm passing or failing the class. It also shows me what I missed if I was absent or just plan old lazy. LOL
