Do now: Review your notes for the midterm.
Classwork: As you answer the Multiple Choice questions, be sure to use test-taking strategies.
1. Skim the passages.
2. Read the questions and underline key terms.
3. Read the passage with the questions in mind.
4. Read the question and make predictions before you analyze the answer choice.
5. Look for similar patterns in the answer choices as well as key words in the passage.
6. Eliminate new information and "always, never" type of answers.
7. Remember the answer must answer the question. It doesn't matter if it sounds right or you believe it to be a true statement.
Homework:
REVIEW YOUR DEFINITIONS FOR FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE. You will need them for tomorrow's wiki project.
