Today is Constructed Response Day.
1. Review our "tips for success" steps. 2. Read the prompt and highlight key phrases and terms.
3. Skim the passage. Concentrate on the main idea of each paragraph - usually found in the first sentence.
4. Highlight the text for main ideas and examples you can use to prove your point.
5. Write your response: be sure to include each step and use transitions.
( Remember how important your first sentenced is!)
