Do Now: Elisabeth is being called into court to testify. She must tell why she fired Abigail. Will she tell the truth? Why?

The Crucible: Court is in session: Episode 7

It all comes down to three women:

Will Elizabeth corroborate her husband's testimony? What is Abigail's next move?
Can Mary Warren maintain her courage?

 John is accused!
Act 4 - Preview: It's a different Salem now.
1. Reverend Parris is doing a lot of crying.
2. The cows are wandering the roads. Everyone is arguing over who they belong to.
3. Reverend Parris enters and says that Abigail .... Well, you read it. (pp. 55-56)
Homework: Creative writing. You run into Abigail 10 years later. What is life like for her now? You will submit this assignment Wednesday at the beginning of class. ( 50 points )
