Open to this blog to prepare for today's task.
We will be researching the Harlem Renaissance. The first website we'll visit will provide you with an overview of the period and provide background information on the most influential people. We will review the site as a class. The next step is for you to begin to answer your research question.

1. Choose the writer, artist, dancer, musician, you'd like to know more about by clicking Faces of the Renaissance.
2. If you are interested in specific places in Harlem, click on A Place Called Harlem.
3. If you'd prefer to research specific dances and Broadway shows, click on Themes and Variations.
4. Open a word document and take notes on what you are reading. Be sure to record the name of this website. Copy and paste the web address into your notes.
5. Make sure to save your word document at the end of this class. You will receive a classwork grade based on your Word notes.
