Do Now: Take out Early Autumn. Review the dialogue you have chosen to illustrate. Make sure you have selected a segment that will allow you to analyze what Bill and Mary said. Circle the setting that goes with this segment. Can you make inferences about what they are thinking based on the evidence Langston Hughes presents? If not select again.

Today's task: Create a graphic interpretation  of Early Autumn from a segment of your choice.
1. Open Comic Life
2. Select your template - Remember the simpler the better. You will be adding several  conversation boxes.
3. Open Google and select an image of 'Bill' , 'Mary', and the setting. Your images should reflect what you know about the story.
4. Transfer the images to your Comic Life Template.
5. Select a conversation box as well as a box that you'll use for their thoughts.
You will be graded on the appropriateness of your images as well as the inferences you make about what Bill and Mary are probably thinking.
You have one class period to complete this project.
Be focused and have fun!
