Literary Devices and Figurative Language Review. 
1. Literary devices  are the author's tools. They include plot, setting, characterization, theme, point of view, and symbolism.
2. Figurative language - the language of poetry and plays.
These include simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, satire, imagery, foreshadowing, flashbacks, and irony.

Today's class will allow you to see which ones you need to review.
