Do Now: Prepare the body of your editorial to qualify for a laptop. Do you have a purpose statement and three developed paragraphs? Do you have at least 5 sentences in each paragraph and a plan for research? If the answer is yes, meet me at the laptop cart with your editorial and your ID. If the answer is no, keep working.

Go to our class website and open today's Power Point. Read each slide carefully. These are your criteria for selecting evidence.
Go to Google anad enter your topic in the search box.
Write pertinent and appropriate evidence for each of your reasons in your notebook.
You will need at least 5 pieces of evidence.
