Do Now: Copy the vocabulary words on the board into your notebook. Write a synonym or antonym for 3 of the words.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller.
We'll be continuing with the work on Thursday's blog.
Today, we'll see Abigail in action with her friends and also with John Proctor.

Homework: Over this long weekend, take time to get your notebook and journal ready for a monthly progress grade. I'm looking for organized notebooks with completed character analysis charts and up-to-date journals. Review your notes for the test on Wednesday, September 30th. It will include vocabulary and class notes on The Puritans as well as the play.
