Do Now: Constructed Response Day. 
1. Question: You have read “How the Wealthy Lived” and “Mrs. Astor and the Four Hundred” by Stephen Currie? Does the Currie article add essential or nonessential information? Use two examples from the text that prove you point.
2. Read "Mrs. Astor and the Four Hundred" by Currie. Keep the question in mind while you are reading and mark the text for examples you might use.
