Read the aphorisms from Poor Richard's Almanac by Benjamin Franklin; Be sure to enlarge the PowerPoint so you can view the entire slide.Select your favorite.
Open a Word document.
Copy and paste the aphorism onto your document.
1. Explain the aphorism you've chosen. (Put it in your own words.)
2. Relate an incident or example that proves the truth of the aphorism.
3. Illustrate your essay with an image you've downloaded from the Internet. Put it under the aphorism.
4. Proofread your work.
Show it to us before the end of this period. Work quickly and purposefully! This project must be completed today. (100 points)
Homework: Study for the test on Tuesday. It will include vocabulary and all of the literature we've read in Unit 3.
