Do Now:  You are walking on this street. What do you hear, see, smell, etc?

This view of the city is far different than Franklin's view of city life.
 Classwork:
The Rationalists' perspective versus the Romantics' perspective
1. We will be comparing Rationalism and Romanticism,
2.  analyzing the vocabulary from this week's readings,
3.  using the informational text to focus on main ideas and supporting details,
4.  and reviewing the strategies for answering the Multiple Choice questions that accompany this text.
Homework:  Complete this section of handout and answer CRQ. This will be graded tomorrow
