Do now: You've got to admit that you're at least a little curious about what goes on during and after death. How do you picture death and the afterlife? 5 lines/5minutes
Classwork: "Because I could not stop for Death" - Emily Dickenson
 Consider how Dickenson uses symbolism, metaphor, time, and imagery to present her message about  death.
Think about it...
1. How does she portray Death?
2. Is she afraid to die?
3. Why does she include references to time and weather?
