Do Now:  You are walking on this street. What do you hear, see, smell, etc?

This view of the city is far different than Franklin's view of city life.
Classwork: "The City, Grim and Gray" vs "The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls"

Focus: Romantic themes, images, and figurative language as seen in the poem.
