Do Now: What do you know about Reverend Parris from both direct and indirect characterization?
Classwork: Today the focus is on Abigail Williams and the Putnams.

1.  "Abigail, is your name entirely white?"
What can you infer about her based on her interactions with Reverend Parris as well as her dialogue about why she was fired? Use evidence from the play to support your inferences.
2. Mrs Putnam suffers because of her daughters illness. What is your opinion of her and her husband?
