Do Now: Prepare for laptops. You should have your quotes for both Nanny and Janie on your desk.
Classwork: Your task today is to finish your analysis of Janie and Nanny at this point in the novel.
1. Each quote needs to be explained and then analyzed in terms of two things it reveals about the character. (Three quotes for Nanny and two for Janie)
2. Insert a picture of Nanny and a picture of Janie at this stage of her life.
Remember: Your grade is based on the appropriateness of the quote for characterization and the quality of your analysis. This is the last class period we will devote to the relationship between Nanny and Janie for this project.
Homework: This project will be graded Thursday evening. Make sure it is complete!
