Do Now: Put your quotations for Janie and Tea Cake on your desk. If you are satisfied that your selections are appropriate for analysis, get your laptop. If not, keep working.

Classwork: 

1. Finish your analysis of Tea Cake and Janie on your wiki. You must have two quotes for each character that will allow you to analyze their relationship.
2. Select images that depict these characters at this stage in their lives.
3. Independent Reading - Chapter 14 - Their Eyes Were Watching God:
Read this chapter and answer the reading questions on your handouts.
Homework: Finish these questions for Monday. Your wiki will be graded Monday evening.
